There are many technologies that have been used to deal with the strong odor of urine.

An interesting variation of perfumes is technology that actually tricks the scent receptors in your nose.

This “New” technology fools your nose into believing that those offensive odors are gone.  

They’re not.

Look for clues such as a promotional offer for a free atomizer.

This is your confirmation that the so called “New” technology is what they are actually offering.

One major drawback to this technology is that the urine, the source of the odor is never actually removed.

Plan on spending more money on refills as the odors return.        

Any type of liquid will penetrate into your carpeting, padding and eventually into the sub floor.

As the volume of the liquid increases the liquid will begin to pool as it encounters any type of obstruction.

If you are trying to clean up urine, you should consider this basic law of physics.  

Don’t get in trouble by not considering the big picture.

A cat urinates on a chair and the owner decides to play amateur chemist.

She tries some dishwashing soap, then a little vinegar and then her favorite laundry detergent.

This ill conceived strategy will only complicate the cleaning process.

It is now going to cost the owner more to clean up the cat urine.

It is not practical for any cleaning product to build in countermeasures for all the various cleaning products that are available.

A superior product will simply concentrate on getting the urine out.

By being foolish and experimenting this individual will likely up spending more in the long run.

Don’t be fooled by television commercials that claim that they can remove any pet stain or your money back.

We examined these commercials carefully and they never actually state that they can remove any type of pet urine, just the stain.

If they could get out any type of pet urine stain and the associated odor they would say so.

Since they obviously don’t have the confidence in their products, why should you?

Don’t be gullible and assume that they are talking about urine. This gives them a way out when the product falls on it’s face.
