Pet Odor or Pet Urine ?

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Be careful here as they are not the same thing.

Pet odor can be simply that Buffy hasn’t had her bath in a couple of months.

Granted the smell can be terrible but this clearly is just plain old pet odor.

Buffy’s bedding can develop quite a nasty odor if not washed regularly.

Pet urine on the other hand is that strong odor that is the result of your cat or dog urinating repeatedly on your carpeting and upholstery.

Buffy’s bedding can easily be washed in your favorite detergent.

Pet urine on the other hand requires a competent cleaning agent to successfully remove that strong urine odor.

Cleaning Kits

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

We have seen several cleaning kits offered that come complete with a set of fancy brushes, injectors, special nozzles, powders, special liquids and other fancy gear.

When you first look at those cleaning kits they look as if you are receiving a comprehensive assortment of specialized cleaning products.

Ask yourself this question. If the core cleaning products worked as advertised then why do you need all of this additional gear?

In our opinion cleaning kits are a ploy to appeal to those consumers that are gullible and easy to impress. These cleaning kits are particularly attractive to those consumers that have experienced cleaning product failures and are searching for redemption with these kits.

If the cleaning kit is moderately successful at producing usable results this type of consumer can rationalize that the prior product failures were not actually their fault.

If the core cleaning products worked then why would they need all of this additional help? Cleaning kits are nothing more than a marketing tactic that is commonly employed by marketing websites to entice you into purchasing their cleaning products.

Don’t be foolish if money is a problem you are much better off purchasing one bottle of a high quality professional quality cleaning product than a box that is chock full of useless and ineffective cleaning paraphernalia.

Look for the word “Goodies” as they try to sweeten the deal and entice you into the sale.

Cleaning Instructions

Review all cleaning product instructions before purchasing.

It is very important to carefully review all product instructions before purchase to ensure that you can handle the cleaning product when you get them home.

Some expert liquid cleaning products are very simple to use. All you do is shake, point and spray.

Other liquid cleaning products require a complicated and error prone measuring and mixing system.

Dry powder cleaning products often require you to spend hours on your hands and knees brushing their powders into your carpeting.

Carefully review all preparation and application instructions before purchasing to ensure that you can handle the product when you get it home.

Perfumes

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Why do cleaning products load their products with perfume?

Basically because their products are ineffective.

Cleaning product technology has advanced to the point that there are cleaning products available that can actually degrade and remove many offending stains and odors.

This includes cat and dog urine.

Perfume in cleaning products is unnecessary.

Products that have a strong perfumed scent are telling you they don’t work.

This is an excellent clue the product is ineffective and relying on perfume to cover up any odors.

Avoid any cleaning products that have strong perfumed scents.

Product Review Odorzout

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

During May 2006 we researched dry cleaning products for those individuals that prefer this cleaning method.

Our search led us to Odorzout.

The Odorzout main ordering page utilizes 128 bit encryption and it’s security certificate appears current.

If you prefer the dry method take a look at this web site.

This product is good, not as potent nor as effective as the liquids but a reasonable alternative if you prefer powders.

We suggest you review “Powders or Liquids?” before making a purchasing decision.

Secret Formulas

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

There are quite a few advertisements that offer to sell you a Secret Formula that will absolutely remove urine.

What you will receive for your hard earned cash is a worthless white vinegar and baking soda recipe that is guaranteed to make your urine almost impossible to remove.

Don’t be foolish, replacing one terrible odor with another makes absolutely no sense.

Manufacturers Websites

Saturday, January 13th, 2007

A Manufacturers Web Site as the name implies is the actual website maintained by the manufacturer of a cleaning product that is designed to promote their products.

Manufacturers Web Sites will generally offer you much stronger product knowledge, correct usage and after purchase support. This is because their engineering staffs are actually the ones that designed and developed their products.

The Manufacturers website has the responsibility of ensuring that the consuming public has a complete and thorough knowledge of the cleaning products they are offering.

This dramatically improves your odds for a successful resolution to your cleaning project
